The curious incident of the dog in the night-time
Pages 56-77, Chapters; 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97
Analysis
What is the author's main message or purpose?
I think he wants to show us how difficult it is to be handicapped and I think he did that well.
The most interesting part in these chapters was when Christopher talked about his behavioural problems by himself. He knows about these problems but he can't change them. I personally have worked with people with disabilities before I started the BMS. They have also problems which they can't control. This internship which I had done, helped me to understand the handicapped persons much better. Actually I think that everyone of us has his own handicaps. Some of them are visible and some not. When I was a child I had the problem that everything had to be tidy and neat. My mother thought that it's a good personality and at first we didn't change anything. While the time was passing things changed. When we got guests at home and they'd put their drinking glasses on a place I didn't like, I was used to put them where I want. The therapy I had been doing for 2 years was a success. Now my mother wished that we had never changed that because now I am lazy but still ordinary. You could say that laziness is also a behavioural problem... We all have these!
Maybe Christopher can do also a therapy to reduce his behavioural problems. Well I know he can't be perfect cause nobody is perfect. I think his parents don't do that much for him. They've accepted his problems but nobody talks about his future.

You should always write down the question you're answering and the word count. Otherwise very interesting. Well, Christopher is doing kind of a therapy. He is at a special school where they are trying to teach him to handle his special needs. But it doesn't sound like you can "cure" Aspergers Syndrome.
AntwortenLöschenGreat I will do it! :) thanks for the comment and advice! I've forgot to write the number, but I always count them to be sure that the text is long enough.
